Nicki Minaj’s “High School” is one of Billboard’s top gainer on it’s Hot 100 Singles chart this week jumping from #83 to #68. Released on April 16, 2013 the single is coming from her album “ Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up” a reissue of her 2nd album.  Nicki Minaj currently has the most singles listed on Billboard Hot 100 by a Female Rapper all time.

 

The latest single from Phillip Phillips titled “Gone, Gone, Gone” was released on the airwaves last month and has received a good reception as shown on Billboard Hot 100 singles Chart where the song was listed at #59 on it’s 2nd week after debuting at #100 last week. Philips Philips was the Season 11 winner of the high rating tv show American Idol. “Gone, Gone, Gone” was the 2nd single from Philips debut album.

Pitbull recorded the song “Don’t Stop the Party” and was released on September 25, 2012 as the third single from the album “Global Warming” by RCA Records which also features TJR. The song was banned from other countries due to the song’s sexually explicit content. The song however was quite a success in the US topping the charts and currently stands at #17 in Billboard Hot 100 Songs, #16 on Pop Songs and #3 on Rap Songs Chart still on Billboard..

Coming from the group One Direction’s 2nd studio album titled “Take me Home”, the single “Little Things” has debuted so well in the charts. The song debuted No. 41 in the Billboard Hot 100 this week and currently tops the UK Singles Chart making it the group’s 2nd song to top the list. Co-written by Ed Sheeran and Fiona Bevan, “Little Things” was released as the official second single from the album. The group was formed 2 years ago in London and was said to be the spark in the revival of boy band concept in the music industry. The members are Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

The song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is a pop and bubblegum pop song recorded by American recording artist Taylor Swift. It was released as the lead single from Swift’s fourth studio album Red (2012) on August 13, 2012 by Big Machine Records. The song was written by Swift with Max Martin and Shellback. Production was handled by Martin, and Shellback, with Scott Borchetta serving as executive producer. A music video for the song was released in August 2012. It was the first music video to be presented in 4K resolution and received positive reviews from critics. A CD single was released in September 2012 by Swift’s official store, Amazon.com and US Walmart stores. The song was an instant commercial success, topping the iTunes chart all over the world becoming the fastest-selling digital single and biggest digital sales week ever for a song by a woman in history with 623,000 copies, overtaking Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and Kesha’s “Tik Tok”, respectively records. It is the first song in Swift’s career to peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first song to hold the top spot for more than one week after a huge leap, since Kelly Clarkson’s two-week run of “My Life Would Suck Without You” after the song rocketed from number ninety-seven to the top spot.
